SNUNEYMUXW TERRITORY, Nanaimo BC – February 7, 2024 – Hullo, a fast-ferry service powered by Vancouver Island Ferry Company (VIFC), is excited to announce the expansion of its Spring sailing schedule and large baggage program, responding to the growing demand for fast, enjoyable and convenient ferry travel.
The Spring sailing schedule boasts six daily roundtrips on the five busiest days of the week and three roundtrips on the remaining two days – plus extra late-night sailings for Island-enthusiasts attending concerts and Canucks games, including play-offs.
Starting March 2024, Hullo will officially launch its large luggage program, making the service even more accommodating for guests traveling with large bags or oversized sports gear.
For a fee, guests can bring up to three large bags or one piece of sports gear, like golf clubs, skis or a snowboard, which they will carry on board and store in a designated area. Guests will also still be allowed to bring a personal item and a carry-on sized bag for free.

To support the growth of its services, Hullo is also focused on building a robust workforce in Nanaimo and the mainland.
